When can I adopt a dog?
At the moment we are working out the possibilities and logistics of rehoming to other countries. Feel free to register your interest via the contact page or add your email to our communications list. Please also follow us on social media for regular updates.
When can I sponsor a dog?
Once our initial crowdfunding stage is complete and we have built the necessary facilities ready for the winter. We will be working on a sponsoring scheme for the animals in our care. This will be for those who are unable to adopt but would still like to sponsor an animal for any particular needs they may have for example medical care. Details will be given via our social media accounts and website. In the meantime our crowdfunder is live where we are raising much needed funds to build kennels and fencing ready for the winter so we are able to take in more street dogs. I am planning a visit to Serbia could I collect a dog?
This is possible. We would have to make sure that the dog is ready for travel in terms of health checks and passport. We would of course need to complete a home check beforehand and ensure you are able to return home safely with your dog. Please get in touch and we can discuss this with you.
How can I adopt an animal?
Whilst we are building the sanctuary, we are working on the possibilities and logistics of rehoming animals. Our priority is helping the animals that really need us. Bringing them to good health and giving them a safe comfortable place to be. Once we have dogs that have become ready for adoption we will be updating the website and posting on social media. If you would like to register your interest. Please do this now by using our contact page or joining our mailing list.
What is your rehoming process?
Once an animal is healthy with a passport and ready for adoption they will be listed on this website and social media. We will have a vetting process for prospective adoptees as it is important that all animals are matched well with their new forever family.
Why aren’t all animals available for rehoming?
Our priority is to care for every animal in the best way possible according to their individual needs. Some dogs may be difficult to re-home. For example, if there isn’t an experienced enough person offering to adopt them. This can be due to behavioural or health issues. We will never give up on an animal that needs us so they would remain in our care and in need of your help via sponsorship.
What happens after I register my interest?
We will send out a newsletter when we are ready to begin rehoming and alert followers on social media.
How much will cost?
This varies according to the animal and their needs. However we would generally ask for an adoption fee in the form of a donation to cover the health checks, passport and travel fees.
